The first edition of the Festa Festival is coming!
A major music event is happening and yes, it is happening in Brussels! Three outstanding bands from Valencia, Basque Country and the Balearic island of Menorca will come together in an evening you will not forget!
From sax to rap. From hip-hop to trap. From afrotrap to salsa, from merengue to bachata. JazzWoman has moved effortlessly through the urban scene, breaking down barriers between genres and building a powerful, distinctive sound. An artist with a voice of her own who transforms the stage into a space of resistance, empowerment, and celebration.
Neomak, which means ‘new moon’ in Greek, are six young Basque women with attitude, creating a new fusion of traditional Basque folk with a contemporary pulse. Electronic dance grooves combining the skittering rhythms of the pandero and the pumping melodies of the trikitixa, as they sing, chant, dance, and assert their position as torchbearers of a constantly evolving Basque cultural expression.
Ses Bísties de Mongofre is a Menorcan folk band that incorporates elements of Catalan Rumba and more urban styles such as Rap. They are known for their festive, fresh, and joyful music, which is blended with some more reflective or deeper tracks. The lyrics are carefully crafted in both content and form, covering a range of everyday topics such as friendship, nostalgia, love, and fears and a critical perspective on current political and social issues.
A real treat for you lovers of great music! Buy your ticket now and make sure you don’t miss it.
